Civil Litigation
Sara is skilled in a wide-range of civil litigation areas including disputes involving contracts, civil rights (§ 1983 actions), business matters, personal injury/wrongful death, commercial landlord/tenant matters, real estate and personal property, negligence, and intellectual property. Sara brings a balanced perspective to her practice because of her experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants. She is knowledgeable in both state and federal practice and both small and complex matters.
Sara draws on a background in public policy having worked before law school in Washington, D.C. for the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), advocating for arms control measures, and for the Indiana State Senate Democratic Caucus as a media relations assistant. She also spent a summer during law school as a legal intern for the ACLU of Indiana.
