Practice Areas
Joseph Rompala is a member of the firm's civil litigation and energy and utility law groups. As part of the litigation group, he has experience at all levels of the litigation process, from the initiation of a lawsuit through trial. As part of the energy and utility law group, he has represented the firm's clients in a number of administrative proceedings that include customer disputes with public utilities and utility rate setting. Joseph is also actively involved in the firm's appellate practice. As part of that team, he has participated in numerous appeals, authored briefs for cases before state and federal appellate courts, and has presented oral argument before the Indiana Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Lewis & Kappes, Joseph served for two years as a law clerk to the Indiana Supreme Court. While in law school, Joseph was on the editorial board of the Journal of Legislation.
