Dave Klinestiver practices in the areas of intellectual property law and general business services. Focusing in particular on trademark, copyright and trade secrets matters, Mr. Klinestiver works with clients ranging from authors, musicians and business entrepreneurs to multinational corporations, helping them better secure, enforce and commercially utilize their intellectual property rights and interests throughout the world. His intellectual property practice has expanded to encompass the relatively new and rapidly developing fields of e-commerce and Internet law. Mr. Klinestiver also practices extensively in the more traditional areas of business-related law, advising and assisting clients in matters such as corporate organization and governance (both for-profit and nonprofit). Mr. Klinestiver also has extensive experience representing clients in transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, business sales and divestitures, licensing and franchising.
